Founded in 1846, the Gardens covers 36 hectares and a huge selection of plants from all over the world. Special features include the Eucalypt Lawn, Grey Garden, Observatory Cafe, Herbarium and Ornamental Lake.

Perfect for walking, enjoying a picnic or just relaxing. For the energetic, there is the popular 3.5km jogging track around the perimeter.
